As most of you know I'm Rebecca, I'm a (as of today!) 23 yr old lady-human, born in saff London town, raised in Twickenham.
I figured this will be my last chance to travel before my medical elective and before the shackles of adulthood are fully planted on my teeny wrists for all eternity, to be swallowed whole into the bowels of the life as an F1 hospital doctor (cue dramatic pyrotechnics and sound effects).
My little mumita es chilena, yet sadly my sister and I don't actually speak Spanish and have never visited Chile or the South Americas that much. But all that is about to change! 4, countries, 7(+) cities, and 2 and half months is what I'm aiming for this summer. I've got my 55L backpack ready, travelling companion (check), travel-sized everything (including myself) and I'm ready for my 18hr journey to begin my South American adventures. I will learn Spanish. I will be able to finally understand what mumita shouts at me when she's all small and angry. I will expand upon my vocabulary further than 'mi gusta tu culo guapo'. I will meet lots of new people, understand a new culture and way of life. And I will not get home sick (too much at least).
I will keep you posted with all my latino stories, hopefully none will refer to any time spent in a Argentinian jail or how I was chased by a rabied (sp) jeckell acrross the highlands of Peru.
todo mi amor mis amigos,
bexXx
